1. About Skiboh

Skiboh is an event discovery and ticketing platform that connects event organizers with attendees. We provide tools for organizers to create, promote, and manage events, and for attendees to discover and attend events across Nigeria and beyond. By using our platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of Skiboh, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

3. For Event Organizers

If you create events on Skiboh, you agree to:

• Provide accurate event details including date, time, venue, and pricing
• Ensure your event complies with all applicable Nigerian laws and local regulations
• Obtain necessary permits, licenses, and insurance for your event
• Honor all tickets sold through our platform
• Communicate any event changes or cancellations promptly to attendees
• Maintain a safe environment for all attendees
• Not discriminate against attendees based on protected characteristics

4. Tickets & Payments

For paid events:

• Ticket prices are set by event organizers, not Skiboh
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers
• Skiboh may charge a service fee on ticket purchases
• Tickets are non-transferable unless the organizer allows transfers
• Refund policies are determined by individual event organizers
• If an event is cancelled, organizers are responsible for issuing refunds

Skiboh is not responsible for processing refunds for cancelled events. Please contact the event organizer directly for refund requests.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

Regarding content you upload to Skiboh:

• You retain ownership of your event content (images, descriptions, etc.)
• You grant Skiboh a license to display, promote, and distribute your content on our platform
• You confirm you have rights to all content you upload
• You will not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property
• Skiboh may remove content that violates these terms

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Create fraudulent or misleading event listings
• Sell counterfeit or invalid tickets
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Post illegal, offensive, or harmful content
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Use the platform for money laundering or fraud
• Scrape or collect user data without permission
• Resell tickets at inflated prices (scalping) unless permitted

7. Privacy & Data

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including location data used for event discovery.

8. Limitation of Liability

Skiboh is a platform connecting organizers and attendees. We are NOT responsible for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of events
• The accuracy of event information provided by organizers
• Injuries, theft, or damages occurring at events
• Disputes between organizers and attendees
• Event cancellations or changes by organizers
• Third-party payment processing issues

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Skiboh's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse our platform. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Dispute Resolution

For disputes between attendees and organizers, we encourage direct communication first. Skiboh may assist in mediation but is not obligated to resolve disputes. Any legal disputes with Skiboh shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and resolved in Nigerian courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of Skiboh after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
